- History of Flight:
On September 24, 2026, at about 0956 local time, a privately-registered Zenith STOL CH 750, N750WZ, sustained substantial damage when it was involved in an accident near Spring Creek, Nevada. The pilot was not injured. The local flight originated from Elko Airport (EKO/KEKO), Elko, Nevada, at 0951.

The FAA reported that the airplane experienced engine failure and hit a ditch in a field on landing.

ADS-B data shows that the airplane departed runway 6 at KEKO and proceeded on a climbing right hand turn to an altitude of 5,700 ft. The airplane flew west before it was seen on a descent from that altitude.

The airplane came to rest nose down in an open field and sustained substantial damage.
