- History of Flight:
On September 24, 2026, at about 1413 local time, a privately-registered Lancair Legacy, N46TL, sustained unknown damage when it experienced a nose gear collapse during a landing attempt on runway 17R at Abilene Regional Airport (ABI/KABI), Abilene, Texas. The pilot and passenger were not injured. The cross-country personal flight originated from Pulliam Airport (FLG/KFLG), Flagstaff, Arizona, at 0844.
ADS-B data shows that the airplane conducted two touch and go(es) before coming in for a third landing attempt.
At 1352, the winds were from 140° at 9 knots, gusting 19 knots.
