- History of Flight:
On September 14, 2026, at about 2305 local time, a Cessna 172N Skyhawk, N4897E, registered to SIG Flights LLC, sustained unknown damage when it struck a deer while landing on runway 5 at the Lincoln County Regional Airport (IPJ/KIPJ), Lincolnton, North Carolina. The pilot and passenger were not injured. The flight originated from Asheboro Regional Airport (HBI/KHBI), 
Asheboro, North Carolina, at 2224.

An airport remark states: "DEER, COYOTE & BIRDS ON & INVOF ARPT."
