On August 16, 2026, at about 1239 local time, a Mooney M20J MSE, N1064U, registered to Henline Aircraft Sales LLC, sustained unknown damage when it bounced on runway 24 and incurred a propeller strike at Hickory Regional Airport (HKY/KHKY), Hickory, North Carolina. There were no injuries. The flight originated from Grand Strand Airport (CRE/KCRE), Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, at 1115.
