Cessna 172L Skyhawk, N7526G, accident occurred on August 16, 2026, at Cable Airport (CCB/KCCB), Upland, California

- History of Flight:
On August 16, 2026, at about 1149 local time, a Cessna 172L Skyhawk, N7526G, registered to Foothill Aircraft Sales & Service Inc, sustained substantial damage when it was involved in an accident at Cable Airport (CCB/KCCB), Upland, California. The sole pilot onboard was not injured. The local flight originated at 1058.

The FAA reported that the airplane came in too high and pilot attempted to go around, due to lack of power and to avoid another aircraft, went off runway and struck a hangar.

ADS-B data shows that the airplane was landing on runway 24.
