- History of Flight:
On July 9, 2026, at about 0745 local time, a privately-registered Kitfox S7 Super Sport, N124M, sustained unknown damage when it overturned under unknown circumstances in the Blairs Bay near Hague, New York. The pilot and passenger were not injured.
The FAA reported that the airplane came to rest inverted for unknown reasons.
The pilot, aged 60, held a recreational pilot certificate with a rating for airplane single engine land. He also held a repairman/experimental aircraft builder certificate for a Cozy Mark IV aircraft serial number 1204D. The pilot's third class FAA medical was last issued on 9/2001.
