- History of Flight:
On May 12, 2026, at about 1130 local time, a ICA Brasov IS-28B2 glider, N8217W, registered to Merlin Soaring Association Inc, sustained unknown, but apparent minor damage when it struck a photographer who was taking photos of the landing in Amelia Court House, Virginia. The pilot was not injured, and photographer sustained minor injuries.
