On April 26, 2026, at about 1036 local time, a Robinson R66 Turbine, N249LS, registered to R66 and Cattle LLC, was not damaged when it declared an emergency due to a chip light and made a precautionary landing near Belle Glade, Florida. The pilot was not injured. The flight originated from Palm Beach International Airport (PBI/KPBI), West Palm Beach, Florida, at 1012.
The helicopter departed the field at 1102 and continued its flight towards Bradenton Airport (SRQ/KSRQ), Sarasota, Florida.
