- History of Flight:
On April 24, 2026, at about 1500 local time, a privately-registered Skystar Kitfox IV, N99UT, sustained unknown damage when it was involved in a forced landing under unknown circumstances near Rosamond, California. There were no reported injuries.
ADS-B data shows that the airplane landed at the Rosamond Dry Lake at 1351, and was seen on ground two hours later at 1527 before it ceased tracking. The FAA reported the time of the forced landing as 1501.
