- History of Flight:
On February 12, 2026, at about 1314 local time, a Beechcraft C23 Sundowner, N1988L, registered to Portal Planes LLC, sustained unknown damage when it was involved in an incident at Knoxville Downtown Island Airport (DKX/KDKX), Knoxville, Tennessee. The pilot was not injured. The local flight originated from the airport at 1311 LT.
The FAA reported: "Aircraft landed and veered off runway into a ditch." ADS-B data show the airplane on final approach to runway 8, but did not capture the event.
