- History of Flight:
On October 28, 2026, at about 1537 local time, a Diamond DA40 NG Diamond Star, N819L, registered to LIFT Aircraft LLC and doing business as LIFT Academy, sustained unknown damage when it experienced a loss of engine power and subsequent forced landing to open field terrain near Greenfield, Indiana. The flight instructor and student pilot were not injured. The training flight originated from Indianapolis International Airport (IND/KIND), Indianapolis, Indiana, at 1446.
