On October 31, 2026, at about 0958 local time, a Cessna 172S Skyhawk SP, N106NK, registered to Menagerie Enterprises Inc and doing business as Monarch Air, sustained unknown damage when it suffered a runway excursion after landing on runway 17L and struck a taxiway sign at KGYI. The local training flight originated from the airport.
