- History of Flight:
On June 24, 2026, at about 2200 local time, a privately-registered Piper PA-18-125 Super Cub, N7178K, sustained substantial damage when it was involved in an accident in Goose Bay, Alaska. The pilot and passenger were not injured. The aircraft was being operated on a local training flight.
The FAA reported that the airplane aircraft started to ground loop, hit brakes too hard and flipped over.
