- History of Flight:
On May 15, 2026, at about 1015 local time, a Velocity XL-RG, N517TP, registered to Aerotrust Services Corp Trustee, sustained minor damage when it was involved in an incident at McClellan-Palomar Airport (CRQ/KCRQ), Carlsbad, California. The pilot and passenger were not injured.
The FAA reported that the airplane was doing a high speed taxi when it lifted and then landed hard with the nose wheel coming off. ADS-B data shows the airplane accelerating down the runway.
