- History of Flight:
On May 15, 2026, at about 1835 local time, a privately-registered Thorp T-18 Tiger, N2KP, sustained unknown damage when it struck trees shortly after departure from Hendersonville Airport (0A7), Hendersonville, North Carolina. The pilot was not injured.
The local police reported that the "plane traveled off the end of the runway."
