- History of Flight:
On December 9, 2025, at about 1945 local time, a Piper PA-28-181 Pilot 100i, N6058F, registered to Ameriflyers of Texas Inc out of Addison, TX, and being operated by American Flyers, sustained substantial damage when it was involved in an accident at Conroe/North Houston Regional Airport (CXO/KCXO), Houston, Texas. The flight instructor and student pilot were not injured. The local training flight originated from KCXO.
The FAA reported that the airplane struck a deer during a landing attempt on runway 14, causing the left gear to collapse.
