On September 20, 2026, at about 1610 local time, a privately-registered Taylorcraft BC12-D1, N44371, sustained unknown damage when it crashed into a hangar for unknown reasons while taxiing at Newport News, Virginia. The pilot and passenger suffered unknown injuries.
