On July 24, 2026, at about 0828 local time, a Piper PA-28-151 Cherokee Warrior, N44704, registered to Harper Air LLC, sustained unknown damage when the left wing struck an object while departing the runway due to a crosswind at Manatee Airport (48X), Palmetto, Florida. The pilot and passenger were not injured. The flight continued to and landed at Clearwater International Airport (PIE/KPIE), St. Petersburg, Florida.
