- History of Flight:
On April 22, 2026, at about 1543 local time, a privately-registered Piper PA-18-150 Super Cub, N4136E, sustained substantial damage when it was involved in an accident near Palmer, Alaska. The pilot and passenger were not injured.
The FAA reported that the airplane was landing at Friday Creek when it ground looped and flipped over.
NTSB is investigating as accident, case number ANC26LA028.
