- History of Flight:
On February 27, 2026, at about 1414 local time, a privately-registered The Airplane Factory Sling 4 TSi, N971CW, sustained minor damage when it was involved in an incident at Kalispell City Airport (S27), Kalispell, Montana. The pilot and passenger were not injured. The local flight originated from S27 at 1302 LT.
The FAA reported: "Aircraft landed hard and struck a runway light." The winds were from 220 at 20 knots gusting 26 knots.
On September 19, 2025, the same airplane was involved in an incident at the same airport. The FAA reported at the time: "Aircraft encountered a gust of wind on landing, landed hard and nose gear collapsed."
