- History of Flight:
On January 19, 2026, at about 1259 local time, a privately, Canadian-registered Cessna 500 Citation I, C-GJVK, sustained substantial damage when it was involved in an accident at Great Falls International Airport (GTF/KGTF), Great Falls, Montana. There there were no injuries. The cross-country flight originated from Idaho Falls Regional Airport (KIDA), Idaho Falls, Idaho, at 1152 LT, and was destined to KGTF.
The NTSB added the event on their database recently, case number WPR26LA093, and gave the "defining event" as a landing gear collapse. ADS-B data indicates the airplane landed on runway 21 in bad weather before coming to a halt.
