- History of Flight:
On January 1, 2025, at about 1000 local time, a privately-registered Maule M-5-235C Lunar Rocket, N56500, sustained substantial damage when it was involved in an accident in Jay Em, Wyoming. The sole pilot onboard was not injured.
The FAA reported: "Aircraft landing in a field and flipped over." The pilot reported to a news reporter that "the field was a good place to land until he hit something while rolling to a stop and flipped it over."
