- History of Flight:
On October 22, 2026, at about 1638 local time, a Cessna P206B Super Skylane, N2649X, registered to K-MCJ Equipment LLC, sustained substantial damage when it was involved in an accident near Nacogdoches, Texas. The pilot and passenger were not injured.
The FAA reported that the airplane experienced engine issues, landed in a field and went through a fence.
Preliminary ADS-B data shows that the airplane departed from the area of Henderson, Texas, and was flying south when it initiated a descent from an altitude of 3,000 ft and landed in a field near Nacogdoches.
The airplane sustained substantial damage to both wings. The NTSB is investigating.
