- History of Flight:
On May 13, 2026, at about 2142 local time, a Beechcraft 300 Super King Air, N531AW, registered to CSI135 Division LLC and being operated on a Part 135 on-demand flight, sustained minor damage when it struck a runway light on takeoff from runway 26 at Albuquerque International Airport (ABQ/KABQ), Albuquerque, New Mexico. The crew aborted the takeoff and taxied back to the ramp. The two pilots were not injured.
ADS-B data shows that the airplane entered the runway via taxiway E7 and was attempting a midfield departure. It accelerated to about 89 knots groundspeed before aborting the attempt. The winds was reported from 230° at 19 knots, gusting 24 knots.
