- History of Flight:
On November 24, 2025, at about 1423 local time, a Piper PA-24-180 Comanche, N8328P, sustained unknown damage in a forced landing near Brooksville, Florida. The pilot and two passengers were not injured. The cross-country flight originated from Gainesville-Lee Gilmer Memorial Airport (GVL/KGVL), Gainesville, Georgia, at about 1124 LT, and was destined to the Tampa Bay Regional Airport (BKV/KBKV), Brooksville, Florida.
The pilot reported a rough running engine and landed the airplane gearup in an open field 2 miles north of KBKV. The flight lasted 3 hours.
