La City Tech Inc
On June 8, 2025, at about 1715 local time, a CSA PS-28 Cruiser, N724SC, registered to La City Tech Inc out of Toluca Lake, California, sustained substantial damage when it was involved in an accident at the Mojave Air and Space Port (MHV/KMHV), Mojave, California. The sole pilot was not injured. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 personal flight.
The FAA reported that the aircraft landed with a crosswind, lost directional control veering off runway into a field striking a sign.
ADS-B data indicates the airplane departed Van Nuys Airport (VNY/KVNY), Van Nuys, California, at about 1620 LT, on a flight to KMHV. It appears the purpose of the flight was to conduct touch and go(es) at Mojave. During the third touch and go on runway 12 (Figure 1) , the airplane veered off the left side.
The recorded weather at KMHV, at 1700 LT (about 15 minutes before the accident), included: winds 200 at 16 knots, 10 miles visibility, no clouds under 12,000 ft (CLR), temperature: 36°C, dewpoint -2°C, and an altimeter setting of 29.90 inches of mercury.
The recorded weather at KMHV, at 1720 LT (about 5 minutes after the accident), included: winds 290 at 15 knots, gusting 21 knots, 10 miles visibility, no clouds under 12,000 ft (CLR), temperature: 35°C, dewpoint 6°C, and an altimeter setting of 29.89 inches of mercury.
