On June 23, 2025, at about 0951 local time, a Gyro Technic GT-VX2 gyroplane, N62XF, was substantially damaged when it impacted terrain short of runway 14 at Keene Dillant-Hopkins Airport (EEN/KEEN), Swanzey, New Hampshire. The pilot sustained minor injuries. The local flight originated from KEEN.

The FAA reported that the "aircraft crashed under unknown circumstances." Local news reported that the "pilot was losing power to the aircraft when it made a hard landing." An unconfirmed source reported that "heavy traffic were using perpendicular runways," and the pilot was most trying to "avoid traffic crossing the departure end of his runway and must have gotten behind the curve."

The pilot held a sports endorsement for airplane single engine land and gyroplane. He did not hold, and was not required to hold, an FAA medical. He also held a Light Sport Aircraft (LSA) repairman certificate.
