On February 1, 2026, at about 1434 local time, a privately-registered Piper J3C-65 Cub, N5930V, sustained substantial damage when it impacted wooded terrain near Brimford, Ohio. The two occupants onboard received non-life threatening injuries.
There is ADS-B data available for the accident flight. Local law enforcement reported that the aircraft experienced a loss of engine power and struck trees in a wooded area during a forced landing.
