- History of Flight:
On December 19, 2025, at about 1528 local time, a privately-registered Taylorcraft BC12-D, N96C, sustained unknown damage when it veered off runway 35 at Abilene Regional Airport (ABI/KABI), Abilene, Texas. The pilot and passenger were not injured. The local flight originated from KABI.
The FAA reported: "The airplane landed and encountered wind veering off the runway incurring a propeller strike."
