On December 19, 2025, at about 2200 local time, a privately-registered Mooney M20K 231, N231CG, sustained unknown damage when it was involved in an incident at Rick Husband Amarillo International Airport (AMA/KAMA), Amarillo, Texas. The pilot and passenger were not injured. The flight originated from Kansas City Airport -Wheeler Field (KMCK), Kansas City, Missouri, and was destined to KAMA.
The FAA reported: "Aircraft landed hard damaging propeller and underside."
