- History of Flight:
On December 20, 2025, at about 1523 local time, a Cessna 172P Skyhawk, N54576, registered to Rick Aviation Inc out of Newport News, VA, sustained unknown damage when it was involved in an incident near New Kent County Airport (W96), Quinton, Virginia. The sole pilot onboard sustained minor injuries. The local flight originated from W96.
The FAA reported: "Aircraft crashed into a field after experiencing engine issues." ADS-B data show that the airplane departed the airport at 1519 LT, conducted one touch-and-go on runway 11, and during the initial climb it descended into a field.
