On May 8, 2026, at about 1111 local time, a privately-registered Piper PA-28-235 Cherokee Pathfinder, N15475, sustained unknown damage when it experienced a nose gear collapse and propeller strike while performing touch and go at Santa Fe Regional Airport (SAF/KSAF), Santa Fe, New Mexico. The pilot was not injured. The local flight originated at 1056.
ADS-B data shows the airplane on a third touch-and-go attempt when the incident happened, the airplane departed the left side of runway 2.
