Cirrus SR22 G2, N48KL, incident occurred on May 8, 2026, at Rock Hill/York County Airport (UZA/KUZA), Rock Hill, South Carolina

- History of Flight:
On May 8, 2026, at about 1438 local time, a privately-registered Cirrus SR22 G2, N48KL, sustained unknown damage when it lost control on takeoff from runway 2 and veered into the grass striking a sign and taxiway lights at Rock Hill/York County Airport (UZA/KUZA), Rock Hill, South Carolina. The pilot was not injured. The personal flight was originating at the time.

The FAA reported that the aircraft lost control on landing. However, ADS-B data shows that the airplane taxied from the ramp towards runway 2 and departed the left side while going about 67 knots groundspeed (see figure).
