- History of Flight:
On December 16, 2025, at about 0940 local time, a Mooney M20E Chaparral, N9081V, registered to RM AV-Med Consulting LLC out of Baton Rouge, LA, sustained substantial damage when it was involved in an accident at Louisiana Regional Airport (REG/KREG), Gonzales, Louisiana. There was one pilot and one passenger onboard. Minor injuries were reported. The flight originated from the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport (BTR/KBTR), Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at about 0918 LT, and was destined to KREG.
The accident is yet to be reported in the daily FAA ASIAS. However, the NTSB added the event as a "Loss of control on ground" accident with case number CEN26LA063.
On December 17, the FAA reported the following information: "AIRCRAFT BOUNCED DURING LANDING, ATTEMPTED TO GO AROUND, LOST CONTROL AND WENT THROUGH A FENCE INTO TREES, GONZALES, LA."
