- History of Flight:
On April 23, 2026, at about 1525 local time, a Maule M-7-260C Orion, N41S, registered to Continental National Aviation LLC, sustained substantial damage when it was involved in an accident at Peter O. Knight Airport (TPF/KTPF), Tampa, Florida. The pilot sustained minor injuries, and passenger was not injured. The local flight originated at 1522.
ADS-B data shows that the airplane was landing on runway 22. The FAA reported: "Aircraft experienced a hard landing and veered off the runway striking a taxiway sign and flipped over." Winds were from 200° at 4 knots.
