- History of Flight:
On August 4, 2026, at about 0834 local time, a privately-registered Mooney M20E Super 21, N3264F, sustained substantial damage when it was involved in a forced landing near Vance Brand Airport (LMO/KLMO), Longmont, Colorado. The pilot was not injured. The flight was originating at the time.

The airplane arrived at Longmont following a flight from the Northern Colorado Regional Airport (FNL/KFNL), Fort Collins/Loveland, Colorado, on July 9, 2026.

Preliminary ADS-B data captured the airplane south of the airport. The data points did not give any useful information.

The NTSB is investigating the event as an accident.
