- History of Flight:
On April 17, 2026, at about 1407 local time, a Piper PA-31-350P Mojave, N9262Y, registered to Twin Star Montana LLC, sustained substantial damage when it was involved in an accident at Ardmore Downtown Executive Airport (1F0), Ardmore, Oklahoma. The pilot sustained minor injuries, and three passengers were not injured. The cross-country flight originated from Hot Springs-Memorial Field (HOT/KHOT), 
Hot Springs, Arkansas, at 1226.

Preliminary ADS-B data shows that the airplane entered a descent from an altitude of 7,400 ft north of the airport. The airplane entered a tight short final for runway 35, conducted a low pass and a climbing right turn, entering another tight short final for the same runway. The airplane was unable to stop and struck a fence after the departure end of the runway.

1F0 is a public non-towered airport located 1 mile southeast of Ardmore, Oklahoma. The airport elevation is 844.9 ft. The airport features a single asphalt runway 17/35 which is 5014 x 75 ft.

- Weather:

At 1355, the winds were from 160°at 12 knots, gusting 18 knots. At 1415, the winds were from 160°at 11 knots, gusting 20 knots.

- History of Flight:
On April 17, 2026, at about 1711 local time, a Pipistrel Alpha Trainer, N143AW, registered to Apogee Air Venture LLC, sustained substantial damage when it was involved in an accident near Salinas Municipal Airport (SNS/KSNS), Salinas, California. There were no injuries. The local flight originated at 1645.

ADS-B data shows that the airplane was conducting several touch-and-go(es) on runway 26. At 1711:38, the airplane conducted a go-around, but was visibility slower (~50 knots groundspeed, previous go-arounds were +60 knots groundspeed) and entered a descending right hand turn into an empty lot.

- Weather:

The reported weather at 1653 included: Winds 290 at 13 knots, gusting 20 knots, visibility 10 miles, no clouds under 12,000 ft, temperature 20°C, dewpoint -3°C, and an altimeter setting of 30.02 inches of mercury.
