- History of Flight:
On March 24, 2026, at about 1040 local time, a Waco YMF-5FC, N43000, registered to Scallywag Air LLC, and Diamond DA40 NG Diamond Star, N351L, registered to Lift Aircraft Inc and being operated as Leadership in Flight Training Academy, both sustained substantial damage following a ground collision at the Scholes International Airport (GLS/KGLS), Galveston, Texas. The pilot onboard the Waco and the flight instructor and student pilot onboard the DA40 were not injured. The Waco was being operated on a local Part 91 personal flight which originated from the airport at 1030 LT. The Diamond was being operated as a Part 91 instructional flight.

The FAA reported: "Aircraft landed and during taxi to the hangar struck N351L who was parked and doing a run-up," and "Aircraft was parked doing a run-up and was struck by N43000."
