Grumman American AA-5A Cheetah, N9568U, incident occurred on January 12, 2026, in Waco, Texas

- History of Flight:
On January 12, 2026, at about 1249 local time, a Grumman American AA-5A Cheetah, N9568U, registered to Centex Cheetahs LLC, sustained unknown damage when it struck a bird while on approach to land at the Waco Regional Airport (ACT/KACT), 
Waco, Texas. The pilot and passenger were not injured. The flight  originated from the Austin Executive Airport (EDC/KEDC), Austin, Texas, at 1204 LT.

The FAA reported: "Aircraft struck a bird damaging right wing leading edge."
