- History of Flight:
On January 09, 2026, at about 1539 local time, a Cessna 172P Skyhawk, N96493, registered to SMTM Holdings Inc out of Wilmington, Delaware, sustained unknown, but apparent substantial damage when it was involved in an accident at the Wright Army Airfield (Fort Stewart)/Midcoast Regional Airport, Fort Stewart (Hinesville), Georgia. The sole pilot onboard was not injured.
The FAA reported: "Aircraft crashed after departure and came to rest in brush."
