On September 23, 2026, at about 0909 local time, a Spirit Engineering SE-1, N5015X, registered to Spirit Engineering Inc out of Grand Junction, CO, experienced a loss of a propeller blade shortly after departure from Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT/KGJT), Grand Junction, Colorado. The pilot was not injured. The flight originated at 0904, and landed back uneventfully at the airport.
