Zenith CH750 Cruzer, N12JR, incident occurred on August 3, 2026, in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas

- History of Flight:
On August 2, 2026, at about 0847 local time, a privately-registered Zenith CH750 Cruzer, N12JR, sustained unknown damage when it landed in a field shortly after take off due to engine issues in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. The pilot was not injured. The flight originated from Sherman Army Airfield (FLV/KFLV), 
Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, at 0845.

Preliminary ADS-B data shows that the airplane climbed to about 1,900 ft before it initiated a descent and landed shortly after takeoff.
